The service
VisitHero provides a free multilingual map, practical place information and an AI Ask assistant for visitors in Japan. Features, coverage and data sources may change as the service improves. No account is required for ordinary use.
Safety and urgent situations
For immediate danger or a medical emergency, contact Japan's official emergency services or nearby staff first. VisitHero can help identify nearby police, first aid, hospitals, AEDs and shelters, but map records and AI answers are informational and should be confirmed against signs, official instructions and current conditions.
AI and place information
AI answers may combine general reasoning, VisitHero place records and selected public sources. Opening hours, access rules, prices, routes and availability can change. Use official links where provided and confirm time-sensitive details with the operator. AI does not independently select paid sponsors; commercial cards are inserted by VisitHero's configured rules and are labelled.
Acceptable use and submissions
Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, automate abusive traffic, bypass access controls, or submit illegal, deceptive, unsafe or rights-infringing content. By submitting a place, you confirm that you may share it and grant EMYSTI a non-exclusive licence to review, edit, verify and publish the non-personal place information for VisitHero. We may reject or remove submissions.
Commercial content and external services
VisitHero may display labelled advertisements, sponsored or partner recommendations, affiliate links and HERO product recommendations. We may receive advertising fees or commission after a click or eligible transaction. External maps, stores, advertisers, affiliate merchants and payment providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
Voluntary support
Support or tip payments are voluntary, do not purchase special access and are not presented as charitable donations. Payment takes place on the selected external provider's site. VisitHero does not collect card numbers. Refunds, receipts and payment disputes follow the provider's terms; contact info@emysti.net for VisitHero-specific questions.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms when the service, providers or applicable requirements change. The current version and effective date will remain on this page. These terms are interpreted under applicable laws of Japan. Questions: info@emysti.net.
